Our goal at Serenity Center is to provide the most comprehensive care available to clients by making our services easily accessible. We provide “Open Access” for walk in services and scheduled appointments Monday-Saturday in our locations. Because we can provide an “Open Access” treatment approach, clients are able to have their needs quickly assessed. This approach will alleviate an unnecessary and costly Emergency Room evaluations. If an individual does require a higher level of care for treatment, we are able to facilitate admissions directly to both inpatient psychiatric units in Trumbull and Mahoning counties. Call for hours and locations.

Serenity Center seeks to reduce recidivism among low-risk youths. A youth’s involvement with this program would benefit them in areas such as family and peer relations, education, employment, substance abuse, mental health, and recidivism.
The Serenity Center Aftercare Program should be thought of as a correctional continuum consisting of pre-probation planning and structured transition that requires the child’s participation during the probationary period.
The central component of The Serenity Center Aftercare Program is its case management system. Case management will coordinate planning of service and monitoring of juvenile offenders during their probationary period. The elements of the case management system provide explicit guidance for successful transition and aftercare.
CPST services incorporate individualized case planning that includes family and community perspectives.
The case manager identifies how the services are addressed during the probationary period. This requires addressing the youths’ problems in relation to their family and peers, social skills, education, substance abuse, mental health, and recidivism
In addition, case management services involves assessments, individual case planning, job readiness, social skills, vocational skills training, individual counseling, parent orientation, and anger management.
To meet the broad range and depth of services required for at-risk youths, The Serenity Center Aftercare Program creates alliances and partnerships with a host of agencies.
